We took Leia to scanning on her day 30th, and our expectations were confirmed - Leia IS pregnant.
We expect puppies to be born around March 23th, and ready to new homes around mid May.
We took Leia for x-ray on her day 60th, and wow - 8 puppies on their way. Leia weights 34,7 kg - gained 6,7 kg, around 24% - no wonder she is tired and uncomfortable now. Though she is still happy with a healty appetite
on March 25th - 3 day over due - Leia gave birth to 5 gorgeous girls and 3 handsome boys. Unfortunately the last boy was stillborn - now a star in the sky.
Leia nurses her babies with greatest effort. All are doing well. Eddie follows with respectful distance.
We will keep a girl, and have found really good homes for the other pups.

This has been a quiet dream for a while now.. mixing the masculine good looks, superb temperament, strong health from Eddie with the pretty feminine exterior, joyful and lovable temperament and strong working abiliities from Leia.
With a cadeau back to Williwaw & Nanuke lines, we believe this match will make good sense.
We are hoping, that Leia will come into season end 2019/start 2020, puppies in March, ready for new homes May.
The plan is to keep a girl out of this breeding - let's see what happens...
