Juneau - Alaskan Malamute

Indi is bred by Al & Mary Jane Holabach, Williwaw Kennels, USA.

Indi is our "Dennis the Menage". Always creative.. a fenced yard does not prevent an expedition into the world outside. A ravenous appetite has often coursed a trip on the kitchen tables. "One is a malamute.."
Indi got her 3rd CAC for the Danish championship a few days after turning 2 years. She has achieved several "Best of Breed" and "Best of Opposite", Also titles as Copenhagen winner, Breed winner 2003 and - so far "Best malamute female" in both the Danish Spitzdog Club and Danish Kennel Club 3 years in a row.
Indi is always happy…always a wagging tail..always ready to hand out a wet kiss or a good belly rub.. She is friendly and curious towards everybody and everything. Friendly towards other dogs - males as females.
Indi had her first litter in oct 2004.

Indi has the last years filled out the role as couch potato at home. That was what she wanted. the daily routines.. Still smart in her own special way. A true matriarch, who understood to decide the important things, and leave the less important stuff to the others. After Anakin passed away, Indi slowly turned into an old dog. The pace was moderate, the spirit and will were intact. But as it goes with old dogs, it became her turn one day. Indi was as a true malamute not ready to let go, but her body was tired. For us it is important to give the departure, while the dignity is intact. So even it is terrible to say "so long" to a dear friend, it is the only right thing to do.

Indi is missed every day. Her gentle mind and wise eyes. Now she is with Anakin again, and someone else is watching over her now..This girl is unique.
